Here are the improvements I would consider making to my RIMS.
 | insert a vacuum gauge after the mash tun, but before the pump to measure
the pump suction (does anyone know where I can get one of these, which will be
ok with mash running through it?).
 | A couple of people have suggested simply putting a site gauge, attached
to the output of the mash, rather than going to the expense of a vacuum
gauge. This makes sense to me, as I am wondering how clean the vacuum
gauge can get, even with Clean In Place (CIP) cleaning, which I do. |
